Coffee Freshness and Our Guarantee
Because freshness is such an important part of coffee flavor, we roast our coffees in small batches throughout the week and ship coffee to our online customers soon after roasting.
We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) and UPS as our primary shippers. The USPS is our default carrier. We use the USPS for shipments to P.O. Boxes since UPS does not provide P.O. Box service. At this time, Highland Coffees only ships within the continental U.S. If you have a shipping preference between the USPS and UPS, based on experience in your particular location, you may specify it in the Special Instructions section of the Payment screen of your order.
Time to Shipment
Most orders are shipped within two days of placement on business days, pending credit card authorization. (Note: The post office is closed on Sunday, and UPS does not receive packages for shipment on the weekend.)

Our goal at Highland Coffees is to make the shipping of our products as easy to arrange and as affordable for customers as we can. In order to achieve this goal, we absorb part of the shipping costs that are incurred on each order. Shipping charges are based on the weight of the packages being sent. The following Shipping Rate Chart shows the rate we charge for each package weight level:
USPS Priority Mail gets most packages to anywhere is the continental U.S. in one to three days. UPS gets packages to its U.S. destinations in one to five days. Around holidays, please allow for an additional several days of delivery time because of the increased volume of packages USPS and UPS carry during such periods.
To aid you in tracking your order once it has been shipped, a USPS Priority Mail or UPS tracking number will be sent to you by email at order shipment time, if requested. To track your shipment, enter your tracking number at https://www.usps.com or at https://www.ups.com.
How to Save on Shipping
Shipping more coffee at a time lowers the cost of shipping per pound of coffee. Also, the shipping price for two pounds of coffee is the same as the price for one pound. You may want to find a balance between trying to save on shipping and having fresh coffee beans at home. If you order too much coffee, your shipping costs may be lower but your coffee will take longer to consume and will thus not be as fresh through the entire supply.
Exchanges or requests for refunds must follow the guidelines outlined in our Return Policy and Procedures. Highland Coffees has a 45-day return policy on all its products sold through this website. Please do not send products back without first contacting us because in some cases products do not need to be returned. If products are returned without contacting Highland Coffees first, you may be responsible for paying the return shipping costs. Returns must be initiated within forty-five days from the date of shipping to the customer to be eligible for refund or replacement.
